How to format?

Ok, yeah, this sounds like a dumb question, but i REALLY dont know how to format anymore. I used to do it ages ago, but havnt done it in a while.

How do i format with Windows XP?

If you have a winxp cd, just put in the cd set cd as first boot device in bios, then let the install program come up. Then it will ask you to use it as is or format, when it ask you that you have two options, ntfs or fat32. Winxp is the easiest to format. If you just want to format to fat32 and install win9x on it, just get a boot up disk and type in at the c: prompt format c:

as a sub-note, is the '/s' (make system disk) still supported in XP ? I've tried it but can't get newhere.

no, i read somewhere that /s went out before ME... i tried it when i was formatting my machine that had ME on it... no work
