I was working on a system that had a virus on it. The most important file was the MS office PST file. I used my handy dandy thumbdrive the system would not copy the file. Therefore, I pulled the drive out and checked it in a good system thinking that maybe it did copy. I could not believe my stuff was gone.

Windows now says please insert disk into drive. Windows cannot seem to format it. I checked the Sandisk web site (what a joke) I could not seem to find any info on how to format it. I have had it for two years with no problems.

Help me please!!!! :confused:Thanks.

HP has a formatting tool. You might want to google it. But you can easily format the drive in windows but make sure you use FAT16. You might have to go to the Disk Management (Start->Control Panel-> Admin Tools -> Computer Management->Disk management)and have to partition it first since the mbr could be corrupted.
