I am going to need to RMA this board (it supplies to much voltage to CPU's by default) and I want to flash it back to a supported BIOS. It came with version 2.0 and I flashed it to 2.5 no problem, and then about three weeks later flashed to the V1.0B16 Special BIOS with no problems.

Problem now is I can't flash the BIOS back to any supported version!!

This is what I have tried:

Bios and awfl789.exe are on my G:\ drive, and there is no other files on there.

I restart into DOS, and have tried the following:

g:\awfl789.exe w6330vm5.250 /nbl
g:\awfl789.exe w6330vm5.250 /py /sn /cc /r /ld
g:\awfl.789.exe and then when it comes up asking what BIOS to program I type:
g:w6330vm5.250

It states that BIOS are invalid or it can't find file. I have downloaded several versions, but I get that message with any version.

Any ideas?

I`ve not used the overclocking Bios, but the normal way is to make a clean boot disk with your system files (format A:/s),download the 2.5 bios & extract it to the bootdisk, then restart your PC with the bootdisk ,the bootdisk will automatically flash upgrade without you typing anything in.

for procedure read this MSI bios flashing guide http://www.msi.com.tw/support/bios/step/awardstep.htm

Guess I can try that. I haven't had a floppy drive in my computer for about a year now. Guess I can hook it up and give it a try :)
