I want to flash my sanyo cdr drive, but the utility that is included with the updated firmware does not support Windows 2000 or NT.

The name of the flashing utility is WINFLASH241e

Is there a win2k compatible version of this?
What other utilities can I use?

I think the best way to flash a CDR is to use a ordinary win98 bootdisk. I know that some programs like the one from Asus has the ability to flash from within windows. But Until the hardware manufatures realize that win2k and beyond is the way, we have to wait for these windows compatible programs.

Yes, use a 98 bootdisk with your flash files on it.
