How to fix some dents on my car hood?

Hammyton

Senior member
While im parked at school some punk kids tend to put their books and then sit on my hood while theyre waiting for their ride.... I think I took care of them but that doesn't change the fact that there are dents on my hood... I tried to simply lift the hood and push outward and eliminated *some* of the dents... but some are still there and look pretty bad....

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

fatbaby is probably right here unless you feel like going to a body shop. But fortunately for me (or unfortunately) I've never had to deal with the problem since any new dents into my truck just blend in with the pre-existing ones without any visible difference.

Try rubbing the dented area with dry ice. The extreme cold contracts the metal and pops it out.

I did it to get rid of some hail damage/dents.

Check the yellow pages for your area on where to get dry ice.

Good Luck

Scott
