How To Fix iOS 12 Device Could Not Be Restored

The issue of iPhone not being able to update is very common especially after iOS 12 update. iPhone restore can be interrupted due to several reasons. For instance, there can be iTunes error during the process, or may be the jailbreak process took a toll over the process. Whatever the reason be, here’s a look at how to fix iOS 12 device restore process.

Step 1
Connect iPhone to PC
Connect your phone to the PC through USB wire. Consequently, the 'iTunes' icon will pop on the screen indicating that the phone is connected.

Step 2
Put the Phone into ‘Recovery Mode’
To put your phone into ‘Recovery Mode’, hold down the ‘Sleep/Wake’ button and the ‘Volume-Down’ button till the Apple logo appears on the screen. You will know your phone has gone into ‘Recovery Mode’ once the Apple logo dissolves and the iTunes icon flashes on the screen.

Step 3
Open ‘iTunes’ and Select ‘Restore iPhone’
Now, go to your PC/laptop, and click iTunes. It will open up a window which has two options: ‘Update’ and ‘Restore iPhone’. Click ‘Restore iPhone’ to restore your phone in the ‘Recovery’ mode.

In this way, you can restore your iPhone.
