How to fix Interface CRC Error Count?

I just noticed I have a CRC Error count....

I did a bit of reading and it seems like the SATA cable needs changing but I am not really buying that as I have a 1 month old Alienware 18...

I have two Samsung 840 EVO 1TB drives. the first one has the problem while the second one is fine.

Doing an AS SSD Benchmark both of them perform very similarly...

Will a secure erase fix this? if I am not facing any issues, then what bad is this doing and can it be fixed?

Here are my AS SSD Benchmarks on both drivers, exactly the same:

Interface CRC errors is nearly always the SATA cable. [much] Less often it is the drive or port on the motherboard.

I read that if the number isn't really increasing overtime, then there's nothing to worry about as long as the drive is performing as it should which is my case. The benchmarks are fine, the number is stuck @ 76. perhaps one time there was an issue somewhere that caused this but what ticks me off is that you can't reset this number

It isn't worth stressing something you can't change.
