How to fix effects of loveletter.ci?

I have this virus and I'm wondering what chances I have of getting everything back to normal? I have norton antivirus 2002 and it couldn't repair any of my jpegs so I just quaranteened them until Im sure I can't get them back. I've pretty given up on getting them back though. My biggest bone to pick with this virus is the way it messed up the way I view my network places and my recycle bin. How do I fix this thing? I have windows 2000 if that makes any difference.

Alright browsing the network is really pissing me off. I'm about ready to reinstall windows and see if that does anything but I doubt it...
