How to Fix Code 19 error gigabyte EP45-UD3R

I have a 64-bit desktop with Windows 7 Ultimate. My mobo is gigabyte EP45-UD3R Ver 1.1 with 8 gigs of ram. I could not install Win 7 SP1 so microsoft technet supplied a fix - reinstall Win 7 from original disk as upgrade. it worked except My firewall antivirus - VIPRE Premium killed my network adapter - Realtek RTL8168. I un-installed Vipre and rolled back to a previous version which freed up the network adapter, but the 2 Wan miniports (IP) & (IPv6) which are the sunbelt software firewall NDIS IM Filter Miniports are not working. Therefore I have no firewall. They both show a Code 19 in the Device status . I did call GFI Sunbelt Software but have not heard from them yet. Is there any way for me to fix this problem without there assistance? Any ideas/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
