How to find the phone number of an eBay seller? *UPDATED*

I sent this guy a decent-sized check for an auction that I won, and haven't heard from him since.

I requested his contact info from eBay, and the number listed is a faulty one. The city listed is different from the one he requested I send a check to, too.

All I have is his address:

Is there any way I can find a phone number for this guy? His feedback is mostly good (negatives report he is slow to ship, but it's been awhile without any e-mail contact - I've tried numerous times), but I would just feel better if I could speak with him personally.

I just called again, and his wife/girlfriend picked up. She sounded very suspicious, asked who I was, and turned the phone over to Charles when I told her it was in regard to an eBay auction.

He sounded VERY surprised to hear from me, and I asked him if he'd received my check yet. He asked how I got his number, and I told him I looked it up online (THANKS ATOT ). He apologized for not getting back to me, and said he'd go to the post office first thing tomorrow to ship my package. I thanked him and told him I was just worried because I hadn't heard from him, and he apologized, saying he'd reply sooner in the future if I ever write to him again.

Charles says I should have the shoes by Monday at the latest. WHOO HOO! Now I feel better about things, and hope to receive the package soon. If not... I guess I can just call him again.

Thanks again, guys... you've been an incredible help, and I can't wait to get the shoes.

Has he cashed it? Can that bank provide you any info?

Can you use the 411 for that city to look up his number?

Have you tried google it?

Worse for worse, you can use those people search.

The check will come to your bank for clearance. They will either take a photocopy of the check or keep the original for themselves. Ask them who cashed, they will give you the a/c # and name.

Guess I don't have much to add here; check and see if it's been cashed, and if not, stop payment. If so, get his info from that.

I'd go ahead and stop payment on it anyway. Fvck this guy, it's been 2+ weeks already. Especially if you call him - he might cash the check early tomorrow, although it takes a couple days to clear a check

The thing is, I REALLY want this item. It's pretty rare, and I've been looking for it for a long time. I just want him to be honest, cash the check, and mail me the item. He's not selling anything right now, but once again, it looks like he has a decent record.

477 positives. 411 are from unique users.

3 neutrals.

15 negatives. 12 are from unique users.

I guess I'll keep trying to contact him via phone to talk it out, first. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, and hopefully I'll be able to catch him in by this evening.

Maybe you should remove his name and address and phone number now that you've got a new number for him. He doesnt need stalkers especially if maybe hes away on vacation or something.
