How to find part numbers?

I've got one of these Radio Shack 63-1009 Thermometers and was wondering if anyone knew how to find out what thermister is in it. I'd like to add more to the unit.

hmm that should be easy that is almost the same as mine.
the thirmistor inside is a little itty bitty black thing.
the one out said on the cable is the exact same thing with a plastic casing added.
they sell several differant thirmisters but you need to get the one that is closest to the specs of the unit you are using.
but unless you have room for another unit what i had to do was desolder the internal unit and then i just soldered it to a long wire and resoldered that to the board.

That's what i did, but I was hoping to be able to add another one on to the system so I could monitor more than 2 places. I've got one on my CPU and one in the middle of the case. I'd like to put another one on to monitor the GPU and maybe another area of the case.
