How to find out which driver files a gamepad is using? i lost the driver disc:( and company is dead...

so, i want to preserve the drver. its a interact hammerhead fx 262e. and well, interact is dead

finding drivers online is next ot impossible, but i still have the driver on my current semi hosed windows install. how can i find out which files are the drivers os i can preserve them for a later windows install??

i'm using windows xp btw, the much harder version of the driver ot find.

if that doesn't work, will adding it as a generic gamepad device suffice?

In the control panel -> system -> device manager, you can find the gamepad, look at properties, and then view driver details. It lists the files that are being used as drivers.

A good lesson to be had here. When I put together a machine I copy all the software to CD and put them in the bottom of the case before closeing it up, saves a lot of grief down the road.
