How to find out what a Baseball Card is worth?

Kelemvor

Lifer
I have a bunch of baseball cards from probably 15-20 years ago. They are probably all worth as much as the trash in my garbage, but is there any website where you can look up specific cards and see if they are worth anything at all? I tried looking on google and foudn a bunch of crap but thought maybe someone here knew of a good one.

Thanks.

I went to the site and registered (free) and it seems to work. too bad they don't hve picture sof the cards though. In another month I'll be done typing them all in *sigh*

Do you want to know what you can get for it? Then check ebay for sales of that card.

If you want a book value, then Beckett.

I had a ton of cards in my closet from when I was a little tyke. When I was moving out of mom & dad's about 6 years ago I sat bought a beckett book and went through them all. Turns out I have a Joe Montana rookie card. The book says it's worth $250 in mint condition, but they're only going for around $150 on ebay.

I have a stack about 16" or so tall of random cards (from bubble gum packs) from the late 80s early 90s. It'd take forever to go through them all so I'll probably just take the bunch to a card shop and see what they offer. Otherwise it's rummage sale or garbage for them. heh heh.

Their online price guide cost money. It isn't free and you are not going to finda free online site with prices that are reliable.

actually it is free. I jsut keep backing up and going through over and over. It says that you only get 1 free search but the sites lets me so oh well. but it got boring.
