how to find out if it's snowing in the grapevine on interstate 5 freeway

Did a google search but couldn't find it ... I know at times when it's raining pretty hard, they close the freeway. It would really suck if we're stuck out there this weekend ... anyway to find out?

Check the local TV station websites for that area. For that matter, newspapers & radio stations, too.

call the state highway conditions line. there is a 1-800 number for it, and they have all highways, big and small. they list chain requirements, etc.

the snow level is not expected to drop below 7000 feet though, even in the north. it will definetely not snow on the grapevine.
