How to find out if anyone else is on my network?

My main computer is hard wired into a wireless router. My girlfriend's laptop is also connected. When the installer configured our network he set the connection to secure, but our password is probably very easily guessable. How would I go about seeing if there is anyone else on our network? Does it matter which computer I am on to check? Not very experienced with this, thanks.

If you all need any more info please let me know and I'll try and provide it.

You can log into the router and see the DCHP clients table. Anything you dont know, is probably someone stealing the wireless. Why dont you just update the password to something more secure?
