How to find out an ip address in Linux...

I'm fairly new to linux. How do you find out what your ip address is if it's running DHCP? I'm running RedHat 8.0.

Thanks....I've just gotta beat these commands into my head. I know about 2 proprietary mainframe systems real well, plus I have Netware 5.1 and 6 stuff swimming in my mind....now I'm tackling Linux...geez. 😉 I think I need to just carry around a notebook so I can remember all this and keep it straight.

that doesn't work if you are

behind a firewall
using NAT
using a proxy server
have a box with no web browser (i wonder if that page is lynx friendly{text browser})
