If you have to force yourself to study something (anything), it's probably not in your best interest to do so. Learning and motivation to study will come easier for fields you have an aptitude and natural interest in.
It's a song: If it don't turn you on you better leave it alone.

But sometimes curiosity can have excellent consequences if you are persistent. If you aren't curious about anything I have to wonder if you are really a living human being. Well, plenty of people are experiencing such high stress levels that curiosity is out of the question.
