Its an ingound pool tho. So the dye would have to come to the surface, the leak just ins't that fast.

In that case, when the soil starts eroding you'll know what general area the leak is in.

Thats' not gonna happen anytime soon since the pool is inside a concreet shell, so i'd imagine it difuses pretty well before hitting the soil. The leak is pretty slow too.

Pool liners are a bitch. We have an underground pool we put in and its been hell. We thought there was a hole in the liner somewhere, but it turned out one of the return pipes cracked and was leaking out between the pool and the filtration station. The pipes were just dug up and hopefully fixed. We shall see as the pool is being fully opened in the coming couple of weeks.

That's pretty much my thought. If it's leaking *that* slowly, then how do you know it's leaking and not just evaporating???

There is no such thing as an underground pool. You mean In ground pool. As apposed to above ground pool.

Well, that would explain how evaporation isn't the problem.

My parents have an in ground concrete pool. They had a leaking problem too. What I decided to do is let it leak until it stopped. In my case, it stopped just below the skimmers. It turns out, the area around the skimmer was rotted.

I suggest letting it leak untill it stops or until you can't take it anymore ( the leak could be on the bottom). Then look closely just above the water line to see if there are any holes in the liner.
