How to figure out how many entries in the registry?

I had to run this thing to reset my ACLs to fix photo gal beta. It said it may take a few minutes, its been a few hours with 70% cpu usage...

its modified 3.5M so far.

What this program you had to run to fix the ACL's? did you make a backup of your registry before you ran it? Im not sure how many entries are in the registry, few hundred thousand maybe?
 
lol yeah this program was taking forever. I really dont want to reinstall vista but, i just noticed my C drive had no space left and searched and found a 30GB .txt file. Couldnt open it and i deleted it before copying the name to google 🙁.


The program came from a microsoft webpage. It was taking way to long and didnt work...
