How to fasten notebook to notebook cooler

I leave my notebook on the desk all the time and have bought a notebook cooler.

Anyone know a good way to attach cooler to notebook to stop it from sliding around on the cooler?

It's particularly annoying when opening the notebook lid as hinges are pretty stiff.

Honestly, I've just learned to live with that. But I usually use it in bed, where everything seem awkward.

The benefits outweigh the inconvenience, IMHO.
 
Why do people, rather than answer your question, try to convince you to do something else? Is it just the post count thing? Please tell me it is.

Anyway, I think I will find some strong velcro or something like this to attach it with.
