I have a Quantum LPS 240MB HD on a proprietary Apricot mobo. The drive has useful microsoft office on it, but I can't get other mobos to access the drive despite inputting the correct HD information in.
Zipping onto floppy all the files is too much to contemplate.
It is Win 3.11 and I don't have the full networking drivers.
Can't run Direct CD or easy CD.
Don't want a damn LS120 for just this job.
Just leaves a serial connection right? Little room on the HD for software so what do I do please? please...!

Going back to your origional solution... Some old hd's in my experiance only like to be the master on the channel so set up your new comp with the old hd as the master on the primary chanel, your 13gig drive as the slave on the primary channel, if THIS doesnt work try adding your 13gig to the old machine as a slave OR Have the old HD on the primary channel as Master, Your 13gig As the master on the secondary channel and unplug everything else..

Hope one of those works,

P.S. Interlink wont work if you are using FAT32
