Got into a minor fender bender leaving work. Hit the car in front of me going 5mi hr. Superficial damage. But...But....my supervisor and a friend I work with drove by about 30 seconds after it happened while I was standing outside of my car talking to the other guy. Both of them were laughing, as they should be.

I will get pounded mercilessly tomorrow at work about this. Email chains galore with all sort of funny pics. So whats the most plausible way I can say it wasn't my fault? Think people, think.....

Wrong way to go about it. If you want to defuse the joke you have to become part of the joke. Tell people he had a picture of your ex girlfriend on his rear bumper or something along those lines. They'll laugh and they'll drop it. The more you fight the longer it will last.
