How to erase the wrong file uploaded to a WHR-HP-G54?

I uploaded, by not thinking, the 7z file to a G54 instead of the actual TRX file. I reuploaded the tomato.trx and the router seems to work fine, but how do I reclaim that space? Does the TRX upload overwrite the 7z I uploaded? Or can I ftp to it and delete it from the directory? I tried to do that but had no success.
This router isn't for me so I want to make sure it's right for the person I'm giving it to and has all it's memory back. Thanks

AFAIK the Tomato TRX firmware earses the resets the space, so there should not be any memory taken.

If the Router works OK do one time Hard Resest (with thr Reset Button) and every thing should be OK.
