I like making my own CD's for the car and portable for the back yard. Seems nearly every CD is recorded at different volume levels, some loud, some soft. Is there some way in Nero (or any burning software) to get the volume the same thoughout entire disk. Somehow Radio stations have been doing this for "Years", there must be some way to make all "songs" the same volume when making a CD. The way I'm currently doing it sucks, Track 1 - set volume, Track 2 - turn it up, Track 3 - turn it down.....

Any help, thx.

Nero has a filter section. One of those filters is an equalizer where you can change the volume. Just double-click on a track in the compilation window. You have to adjust the volume by ear, but it is better than nothing. There are many other filters, but I have never used them.
