How to ensure dual channel operation?

I have 3x1GB DDR3-1333 DIMMs. They are manufactured by Unifosa and the model number is GU502203EP0200. The stickers on them say

PC3-10666 CL9-9-9-24 1.5V 8 x 128Mx8 1.5V EP *0805321*46

I bought them on the FS/FT forum and have them running on my Core i3 system. I would like to purchase another 1GB DIMM to have 4GB of RAM but I want to make sure that the DIMM I purchase will run in dual channel mode with the DIMMs I already have.

Will either of these work?

The voltage, speed (does 10600 vs 10666 matter?), and latency match. Is there anything else I need to pay attention to?

Your ram is PC 10666 but the linked modules are PC 10600. Generally it's best if all modules are identical but you never know till you try it, sometimes you can get away with minor differences. Be sure to try different combinations in slots if it doesn't work.

I think PC 10666, PC 10600, and PC 10700 are essentially all the same because they are all DDR3-1333.

Anyway, I bought the Micron DIMM and it's working fine in dual channel mode with my other three DIMMs.

I've seen laptops on DELL's outlet site with 6gb of ram. Is it possible to have dual channel operation with what I would assume is 3 memory sticks?

I think those are a 2gb and 4gb sticks in two slots.

I thought about that after I posted. So rule of thumb is that you have to have a minimun of an even amount of memory slots and populated memory sticks for dual channel to work?

It makes sense in my mind.
