How to end an ebay auction early?

I contacted a seller directly, and they don't know how to end the auction early----any ideas?

Beware that it's against ebay policy. That said, I've gotten people to do it for me before.

it's not really "against their policy". it's just that they forgo any so-called seller protection if you sell outside of ebay.

i believe there is an option to end the auction and sell to the current highest bidder.
