I've been a long-time nvidia user but recently made the jump to ATI with the X1950 XT. While the cards performance is great, I'm less than impressed with the driver interface though. In the nvidia driver it was very easy to specify that settings like AA and AF should be forced in a certain application via profiles. The ATI CCC has profiles also but I can't understand how it works. After creating a profile I don't know if the changes I make in CCC are universal or specific to that profile; it is very confusing because there is no way to tell if the particular profile is activated and changes made won't effect the universal settings.
To top off the confusion the ATI documentation is less than impressive. The help file seems to have been written by a summer intern, with the sparse descriptions of options.
