How to enable DMA when using AMD EIDE controller??

How do I enable DMA for my ultra dma hard drives under Windows 98? I am using an AMD EIDE drivers. When I click on hard drive properties there is no click box for DMA.. Is it automatically enabled?
 
Yes. If your in DMA/66 mode, you have no option to disable DMA; It has to be enabled for it to work.
