HOW TO enable AGP 4x with VIA and Geforce GTS and its Versions

with Nvidia based drivers (6.34 up to 6.49 work best),look for this setting in your regisrty, if its not there put it in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\System
EnableVia4X

the 'EnableVia4X' should be entered as a new DWord, once its in there modify it and enter a value of 1 hexadecimal
reboot for it to take effect and all should be sorted

Do you think this would help my gladiac stutter problem? I have it set for 4x in the BIOS, but have not tried the regedit. In games, the picture will freeze up for a second, or stutter every few seconds.
