This is a really dumb question: How do you edit the content for the FLASH website template I just bought? I went into flash, and all that was there was the actions for the different layers. Dreamweaver just has a flash logo.

Do I need to edit them in Photoshop? And then how do I integrate the updated versions into the flash template? Thanks

It's possible the template came with an HTML only version without flash and editing that may require Photoshop because of the .psd files.

So I need to use Flash only... I can usually figure things out like this, it shouldn't be too difficult. Thanks everyone

Wait a second, there is two options for editing the website, Flash and HTML only. When I go into the Flash folder, there are PSD files for the different pages.

the photoshop files are the original artwork in case you want to edit them

if the text is in the photoshop files, then you can edit the text there, but you'll need to replace the library items in flash

if the text is in the .fla file its a whole new story
it depends on whether the text is just in a keyframe or if its a library item (and if it has any tweening)

there's a few flash designers who frequent here, they'll probably help you out just for the ego boost (and the ability to get someone looking at their website)

There's no text in the flash file, so I'm guessing it's in the PSD file. Then after I'm done editing the PSD file, I would save it as an .fla file and import it to flash as a library item.
