How to edit a video in Media Center?

I recorded a few TV segments on my Windows 7 computer using Windows Media Center. The shows are about an hour each and I need about 4 or 5 minutes only. I just need to delete about 55 minutes of the hour. I don't need any other editing. What is the easiest way to do this? In looking on my Hard Drive (SSD), the format of the video is *.wtv

You might find it easier to just upload it to youtube and edit it from there using youtube tools.

This was my very first video edit using microsoft stuff. Yeah as you can tell not very professional but it works.
