How to Dual Boot

I'm running Win XP, but would find it advantageous to have a Win 98 drive as well. This is primarily for games, several of which seem to have some problems with XP. Is there a way to create a dual boot system already having XP installed, or do I need to install win98 first? I want them to exist on separate drives, not just different partitions. Can someone show me some links to a forum or articles for this?
