How to dual boot 98 and 2000

I just bought 2000 and want to dual boot with my existing copy of 98se. I have had one person tell me that I need seperate drive partition and another says I can put it on the C: drive with 98 if I use Fat32. I have a 13.6 Gig hard drive with two partitions Both Fat32. I would rather put 2000 on the C: drive if possible.
Which way is correct?

Putting OS's on their OWN partitions is a much safer and more reliable way to go. In case one of your OS's does die or do something funky, you won't lose both. If you want to save some space, you can install applications for both operating systems to the same place (ex.: install in 98 to d:\Program Files\App and install in 2K to d:\Program Files\App).
