The files are stored in your web browser's temporary internet cache, Look for files that are fairly large and attempt to play them in your video player.

1. Delete cache
2. Go to a video on google and view only that video.
3. Go into your internet web browser cache folder and attempt to open the video with a media player
4. Voila.

Cheers! :)
Edit: In order to play these files, you need VLC Media player :( Turns out it uses the macromedia video codec. So it'd be good to convert them to another codec if possible.
so :(

Nope, see google uses Flash as wrapper to play the video files. They're actually real video files that 1. Aren't Streamed but downloaded and 2. Use a relatively standard video codec.

He said FF. It's actually in C:\Documents and Settings\(your user name)\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

From there, look inside the folders and check em out, look for one that says cache.

The one SO mentioned is actually program installer temporary folder.

C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

Is the folder for internet explorer cache.

You can't just go to the source code and grab the file from there?

aren't they FLV files (I haven't tried grabbing any) ? If so, not even flash player can play them. I believe you can import them into Flash MX 2004 or Flash 8 then test/publish to play them, but obviously that's not practical.

I wonder if there's an FLV player... all I know is that it's great compression. In my experience, it turned a 22MB WMV into a 12MB file without loss of quality. Better than divx.

It'd be great if you actually read my post. Yes your right, they're FLV files and they can be played in VLC player...
