After much convoluted looking around, I found how to download intel chipset drivers. So here is a quick guide:

For regular chipsets:
1. Go to intel download center: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/
It is not linked properly in the main intel site.
2. Select from the left chipsets>chipset software>chipset software installation utility.
For some reason intel calls the drivers "chipset software", you will not find them in the "drivers" category.
3. Your OS will likely not be properly listed and you will be told download is not available, that is why you should choose "all operating systems" from the drop down menu. Don't worry, the file it will find supports all operating systems. Just check the release notes to be sure.

For IGP:
0. Download the regular chipset drivers from the above step. This is only for downloading the graphic drivers (you would need both).
1. Go to intel download center: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/
It is not linked properly in the main intel site.
2. Select from the left chipsets>desktop chipsets>Intel 965 express chipset family
Intel does not list any newer chipsets then the 965, but the release notes on the IGP graphics driver show it supports all the newer chipsets as well.
3. Select your OS, if nothing is found (50%/50% chance), then choose another OS, or choose All OS, and check the release notes to see what operating systems are supported.

Where do I get intel chipset drivers?
Nvidia is easy, nvidia.com
AMD is easy, AMD.com or ATI.com
intel does NOT offer new chipset drivers, if you manage to dig through the website and find the location, you are greeted with a page that tells you to get it from the mobo manufacturer.

Mobo manufacturer's do a poor job of giving you up to date drivers.

I hoped there will be a 3rd party website, kind of like laptopvideo2go.com
But all my searches turned up nothing. guro3d, the usual place for tools and downloads, has a section for intel chipsets, but their last one is from 2007. Very outdated.

So if anyone knows, please inform me.

PS. I use 64bit vista

I was referring to that page.
Most of their chip sets are not listed there, the LATEST listed there is the 965 express.
Of those that are listed, half are not available.

The 965 is one of the few who actually let you download something from their site.
Except it does not include chipset drivers. Only IGP drivers (aka, only for G965, not P965):
965 download page

which does lists newer IGPs in it's compatibility list.

Go to the above url and select chipsets and chipset software from left.

ok, wait, I see what you mean. In chipset software (not drivers) they have "Intel® Chipset Software Installation Utility". Stupid as hell place to put the chipset drivers.

However, that one also tells me:
Download Not Available

This download is no longer available.
When I enter my OS...

However, if I select all operating systems... it show it.
And the release notes say it supports vista 64bit and P35 chipset.
So it IS possible to get from intel website, just very convoluted. There is no link to that download page on the main intel site. The drivers are found under software, not drivers, and they are incorrectly listed as not available for vista 64bit.
