i'm seeing it available as "Counter Strike Released November 1, 2000 for $9.99" Is that what you just paid for it?Steam.
And yes, I think people still play it.

ok, just downloaded from steam, started a game, there were about 20 servers with players, about 200 without players, and the game supports 2560x1440.
So, yeah, its still a thing.

It sounds childish to argue this point. Counter Strike is a Valve/Source game and therefore it's available on Steam. Get it from them or waste your time and money searching Google for sketchy third-party alternatives only to realize you should just suck it up and buy it on Steam. Is steam the only "legit" way to get 1.6? for $9.99?
i mean... it sounds like from aigomorla removing a link i found on google as "promoting a 3rd party" whereas recommending we give business to Steam is ok ("1st party")
