How to do website "who is"

not sure if this is the correct place, but i want to know how to find out the info on a website. i'm sure all of you know how and i'm the only one that doesn't know the secret. 🙂

What's up with whois.sc? I try to who is but it requires me to sign up. I put in my email and NEVER get anything from them. I've tried like 5 times. Any help/advice?
