what HDMI video (w audio) card should I order for Dell Vostro 230 to run it to a SONY KDL-52W3000 TV?

and later how to easily switch audio output between PC and TV?

I like amazon - will the $39 1GB version of this card do the job?

THE CABLE

her PC is about 12 feet away across the room - the shortest cable that would do would be 15 feet;
to do it properly across the walls .. ceiling would be 30 feet ...
running that under a carpet across a hall where she walks - will probably begin to damage it after some time - and might even effect the picture - better do it right

not sure how much HDMI length would effect the quality? seems that up to 50 feet is OK


because she has white walls - I think I will order this one

Could consider Chromecast / Miracast dongle. Wirelessly send the picture, and maybe the audio.
