I've configured a server and 20 thin clients for LTSP (Linux Terminal Server Project)
I used EDUBUNTU 7.10 as the operating system.

Im wondering on how to benchmark the performance of the server with regards to the running of applications in thin clients. How shall I start my evaluation/benchmark?
I'm using ksysguard as my benchmarking tool..

Any suggestion will be helpful..
Tnx in advance..
:D

What are you benchmarking? Do you want to see what will happen when a heavy load is placed on the system by multiple users? Or do you want to see what kind of performance hit you take for using different apps?

What is this going to be used for, btw. If it is for a school (guessing from EDUBUNTU) my suggestion would be to get a couple of youtube videos loaded up, see how that preforms and then maybe a HD video on each client. if it is for a school and it can handle that, then you are set.
