How to DL a pdf file

Hello Folks
How do I DL into my iPAD a .PDF file??

When I go to a site with a PDF file I can open it and read it but I can not DL into my iPAD, what an I doing wrong ?

Tap the "Share" icon (the little box with and arrow pointing up) then select something like "Copy to Books" or "Save to Files".

On my iPad when I have issues with downloading files I fall back to Puffin browser. It acts as a regular desktop browser so you can just download any file you'd like without iOS wanting to open it like in Safari or Firefox.

I also have an app called "Local Storage" that simply places an empty folder in the Files app that is, well, local storage. It lives on your iDevice and doesn't sync via iCloud.
