I have a black and blue leather motorcycle jacket:

and I want to make the leather look old/worn.. It's a bit too 'ricky racer' for me nowadays..

I've searched and read about the different methods, but I'm curious if anyone has actually tried this stuff? Most people seem to recommend rubbing alcohol, but that seems bad for the leather..

fine grit sandpaper. Use light pressure. Try different patterns. Swirls, straight lines, etc.

This is the only way to do it right. Any kind of artificial method will look artificial. Instead of people thinking you got a new jacket, they'll think you're a poser n00b ;^)
