how to distinguish amd cpu's

i just got in the fry's deal today for the 2400+ and ecs motherboard.. i bought a combo for myself and a friend.. however, i got 2 different color cpu's. one is a green one, and the other is a brown one.

green one:

i plan on getting another motherboard and using one of these 2400+ to overclock. so which one should i keep.. and which one should i give to my friend ?

i believe that's supposed to be 0305 not 030S

someone hook the man up with that webpage that shows you all the stuff you need to know...

if i were you, i'd keep the bottom one.. it's batch #62 as compared to batch # 684 of that first one

lower batch is usually better (rumored)

i'd take shimms advice and keep the bottom one but expect similar OC results

Definately keep the bottom one!!
