How to dispose small propance cylinder tank?

How do I throw away a small propane cylinder tank?
The propane is to be used with a flame torch. (it says on the cover)

However, it has been sitting in the garage for more than 2 years.
And it is half full.

How should I get rid of this?

Stand very close to it (within about 3 feet) and fire a pistol right at the valve on top of the cylinder. This will open up a time portal and the cylinder will be "Pre Recycled."

It's a new concept in Pre-Conceived Materiel Recycling. Go for it.

small bonfire, surrounded by a fire ring... when it's just hot coals, carefully and quickly place the propane cylinder upright on the coals.

Runnnnnnn....

Actually, I'd love to see that. We put an empty spray can into a small fire once, with the end against a cinder block. That thing shot across the river (about 50 yards) plugging into the soft mud on the other side, and resulting in a boom that echoed up and down the river valley.

I have done the grill size bottles. It is awesome and the sound is deafening. Problem is it takes so long. Kind of like when your tempted to approach a firework because you are not sure it is lit.

cool, I have an extra half full grill sized bottle... I already have 4 others that have the new valves, no sense in having 5. 🙂
