How to display chinese characters from ppstream or another chinese program?

Downloaded Ppstream in hopes to watch some nba and tvb shows, but when I downloaded the program it's all in weird characters. Is there anyway to switch it to chinese characters so my gf can translate for me?

No clue about Ppstream (which sounds like someone urinating), but to enable the viewing of Chinese characters, you need to install/enable the IME, depending on your version of Windows. Under Windows XP, go to the control panel, then Regional & Language Options. Pretty self-explanatory from there.

I tried that but it only changes the words in windows not the programs I open ..
