How To Disconnect Sony DSC-WX150 from Windows 7

Hello,

Just purchased the Sony DSC-WX150. Fairly good camera. I'd like to know how to disconnect from Windows 7, using the USB cable. Our other Sony camera allowed us to 'safely' remove from the notification area. I do not see this feature in the DSC-WX150. Do you merely shut the camera off, and disconnect the USB? Any and all replies are very much appreciated.
 
Sometimes the Notification area is expanded into an adjacent area that only shows a tiny down arrow. But, yes, if the camera is OFF, just pull the plug.

But, why connect it to Win 7 in the first place? Use a media reader writer and don't connect the camera at all.

Thank you. I'd rather use the USB, not the memory card.
