Ok, I've searched for this and I can't find the solution. Whenever I switch my input between ps3/pc my windows end up resizing to a smaller size like when you lower the resolution and the os automatically adjust.

-I want to disable this so the window sizes remains the same regardless of whether i change between inputs...

In most cases, the smaller size indicates you switched to a higher resolution. Screens are measure in pixels, and if you change resolution, you are changing pixel sizes. Therefore, image relative sizes must change.

But I haven't both the ps3 and my pc are at 1080p. All I do is just switch inputs without unplugging the cable. this never happened with my previous monitor (vk246h), right now I'm on a dell u2311h.

And that shouldn't matter I remember lowering the resolution once in vista and the windows actually didn't resize they retained the large size that even went off the screen. This is exactly what I want to do.
