how to disable wifi on toshiba M115-S3094?

How can I disable the wifi this toshiba centrino laptop? Basically,a teenager just got "grounded" and I'm the techie to enforce the 'no internet' policy...lol. 1) i can disable wifi to the laptop's mac address but user can log onto neighbor's unsecured network. I don't see an option in bios to disable wifi. I don't see where the wifi card is for me to remove. any ideas?

You could try uninstalling it (from the device manager)( or deleting it from network connections. If they're not very technical, they probably won't be able to figure out how to re-enable it.

manually assign it an ip address with a bad ip scheme or put in 11.1.1.45 or something as a dns server or defualt gateway. she may be online but she wont get very far unless she is smart enough to figure it out?

Yea, but changing the IP could probably be fixed if she right clicked on the connection and went to repair. Don't know if he/she is that clever, but I'd go for uninstalling it from the device manager, or deleting it from network connections.

hey, can i do something w/ windows hosts file to prevent browser from going anywhere? i've selectively blocked sites like youtube before using a program called hostman. how do i universally do it?
