How To Disable Transparency Effects In Windows 10

Transparency is not everybody´s favorite; that is why Windows 10 offers a way to disable it. It is not a difficult thing to do, but it is important to know which are the menus and where they are located. For this purpose, we have created this detailed tutorial of simple steps to follow. Read on and disable all transparencies you don´t like.

Step 1
Open 'Start Menu'

Click on the 'Windows' logo on the bottom-left side of your screen or just hit the 'Windows-Logo key' on your Windows-compatible keyboard. All your favorite, most-used programs and apps and info like your emails and the weather will be immediately available.

Step 2
Enter ‘Settings’

The ‘Settings’ menu is the main route to reach Windows fine-tuning options. Windows 10 as many other versions have many options to make them as customized as you need.

Step 3

Enter ‘Personalization’
Click on the icon that reads ‘Personalization’ at the ‘Settings’ menu. Here you´ll find many of the options to fine-tune your Windows 10

Step 4
Access the ‘Colors’ Menu

Click on the ‘Colors’ option of your ‘Personalization’ menu. Inside this menu, you will find the options to fine-tune the colors of your Windows 10 and also the transparency settings.

Step 5
Switch Off Transparencies

Slide the 'On/Off' option to the offside. Siding this switch, you will turn off transparencies in the Windows Start menu.

Transparencies can be turned off and on as many times as you like, so once they go away don´t worry, you can always bring them back.
