how to disable the laptop keyboard?

my laptop keyboard is fcked up. the 'a' key must be stuck or something so i plugged in a usb keyboard. is there a way to disable the keyboard thats built into the laptop? i tried looking in the keyboard section in the control panel, couldnt find anything useful. this is a dell laptop, if that helps any.
