Can anbody help me with this? My monitor keeps going off. It has to be some sort of power management feature, but I can't figure out how to stop it. If I select a screensaver to use, it won't black out; the screensaver just comes on if I leave the computer alone. But with no screensaver selected, the screen will go black after 10 minutes with no activity. Move the mouse, and everything comes back. Not really a big problem, but it gets annoying when you're trying to watch a DVD :) I've set the Windows power control to Always on, but it still goes black. any ideas? I'm using Win '98 and an Epox 8KTA3 MB with the 5/18/01 BIOS and a Creative Labs GF2 MX video card. Is there anything in the MB's BIOS settings that has to do with power management? That's the one thing I haven't checked yet. If that is it, could somebody please tell me what to look for and change? Thanks!

Goto your BIOS and disable anything that says power management.
In Windows do the same and disable/delete all Scheduled tasks.
In the Windows device manager under System Devices remove
Advanced Power Management..........
